Q1 is coming to an end & we'd like to update you on everything we've been up to 🤩

New features

1. Be on top of your processes with Workflows

Keeping a clear overview of your processes and the associated steps is just as difficult as putting a child to sleep who has eaten too much sugar 🍯 .

What do you do to keep this overview: Another excel? Another manual checklist in Word? Countless emails to explain the correct steps again?

We know what keeps you up at night 😴 . Well, not for much longer because we have developed a feature for you that will make your daily work easier, more efficient, more structured, AND in a more controlled way 👩🏼‍💻

Think of:

  • Source data and documents into a single source of truth in an automated, structured manner

  • Support the preparation and gathering of TP local files

  • Build repeatable processes for the creation of new legal entities, the integration of acquired companies, ...

  • Manage your end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance

2. The home for your Indirect Tax work just got better

It’s our absolute pleasure to announce our indirect tax page is expanding as of today!

We’ve put all the updates of this new indirect page in this video for you!

3. Your own virtual interpretation assistant

It is not always easy to see the wood for the trees when interpreting the foreign Annual Accounts or the Corporate Tax returns of your various entities.

That is why we have provided an interpretation assistant that gives you an immediate overview of the data points in Loctax & the fields in the return in question.

An improvement a day keeps the *blank* away... 🚀

We value your feedback, for us, this is literally a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🌈 Also this month we received a lot of feedback regarding our existing functionalities and we made some improvements to them. Curious to see what? Read it below or watch it here:

  • LOC: Improved legal org chart cursor context to indicate that it is pan-able

  • Layout: Added tooltips to the sidebar when it is collapsed.

  • Entity: Added VAT responsible person to the entity list

  • DAC6: added the ability to select the legal entity doing the reporting

  • Audit:

    • The timeline update date is customizable and will be sorted on this date.

    • Audit assignee is no longer required

  • Table: Updated the filename when exporting to excel from the Table app.

  • Global: Close modal when there are no changes when clicking outside of it.

  • Global: Hide hexadecimal value for colors

  • Shareholders: sort table by participation percentage

  • Organization settings: only allow images to be uploaded as the logo.

99 problems but a bug ain't one 🐞

Also this month we have fixed a lot of bugs in the platform. An overview can be found below:

  • Add empty state to documents when there are no results

  • Improved searching for member names with spaces.

  • Reset datapoints in the LOC sidebar did not work as expected.

  • Shareholders: prevent an entity from being a shareholder in itself.

  • DAC6: updated the DAC6 ticket counter to work as expected

  • Shareholders: fixed a bug when inputting a decimal number as shareholder percentage.

  • Notes: fixed a bug showing “Someone else changed this not already, please refresh” when updating a note on slow internet.

  • Fixed a user interface bug when setting a new password.

  • Shareholder: fixed a bug when editing existing shareholders where the existing values were not prefilled.
