We all know that centralising key information and ensuring it's easy to retrieve is a key challenge for all teams. Using Loctax's simple and intuitive Notes app you no longer need to send emails/Slack/Teams messages to do this or remember where key information lives.

Notes in Loctax is one of the most powerful ways to centrally capture and store important information. Your digital notepad in Loctax allows you to take notes for yourself or share notes with your colleagues and even link them to a particular entity/group of entities. Notes in Loctax are private by default.

Notes can be used for a magnitude of use cases. Some people use Notes to centralise actions following 1:1s with their team and others use them to share key regulatory information, news articles or the summary of a call with an advisor. Attachments and screenshots can be added to your note and the creator of the note can delete it if required in future.

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip! Notes should be used to capture important updates but not key documents and data that can be stored elsewhere in the platform (such as Corporate Tax returns or key data points found in a VAT return).

Loctax is interconnected by design - i.e. information can be linked and found in multiple, logical places so that key information is always a couple of clicks away. Therefore if a note is linked to an entity upon creation, it's visible in the entity page too within the 'Notes' tab. See the below example.
